Legal Aid

  • Divorce
  • Financial matters
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Private Law Children (this often relates to disputes between parents and includes issues such as
where a child will live and whom they will spend time with)
  • Public Law Children (where there is involvement from the Local Authority)

Depending on the type of case that you require legal advice and representation in, you may be required to provide evidence that you have either suffered or are at risk of suffering from domestic abuse or that your case involves a child who has suffered or is at risk of suffering from abuse and is in need of protection.

In most cases, we will need to undertake an assessment of your financial means to see whether you will be eligible to receive Legal Aid funding for your case. Evidence of your financial means will need to be provided to us to enable us to carry out the assessment

If you would like to find out whether you would be eligible for Legal Aid funding, please contact our experienced team at Price & Kelway who can explain to you what information and documents you will need to provide us with so that your eligibility for legal aid can be assessed.
