There are a whole host of documents that a business or a company may require to ensure that they are operating in a way that is orderly, is compliant with legislation and ultimately that protects their position.

1. Drafting Contracts:

  • Based on the consultation and the parties’ requirements, we are able to draft comprehensive contracts and agreements tailored to the specific transaction or arrangement.  These contracts may include terms related to services to be provided, goods to be delivered, payment terms, warranties, liability limitations, dispute resolution mechanisms, and other relevant provisions. 

2. Reviewing Contracts:

  • If parties receive a contract drafted by another party, we review the document to ensure that their clients’ interests are protected and that the terms are fair and reasonable. 
  • We identify any ambiguities, discrepancies, or potential risks in the contract and advise their clients on how to address them. 

3. Negotiation and Amendments:

  • We can facilitate negotiations between parties to reach a mutually acceptable agreement on the contract terms and may recommend amendments or modifications to the contract to address concerns, clarify terms, or achieve a more favourable outcome for our clients. 

4. Risk Management:

  • Our solicitors ably assess and mitigate legal risks associated with contracts, such as potential breaches, disputes, or liabilities and will include provisions in the contract to allocate risks appropriately between the parties and minimize exposure to legal claims or damages. 

5. Other Commercial Documents

  • As well as commercial contracts, we can assist our clients with the preparation of a whole host of other legal documents to include a set of standard terms of business or terms and conditions to be used for our clients’ operations, documents that govern relationships with third parties such as franchise or agency agreements.
